At Cie, Berengian is responsible for building a world-class execution-focused team and growing Cie’s digital transformation ideas into sustainable, profitable companies.

    Co-Founder and Head of Product Strategy

    Justin Choi is a serial entrepreneur and product-focused CEO who holds multiple technology patents and founded three successful companies across various sectors, including a leading social/mobile game studio that produced two top grossing mobile apps on iOS and Google Play.

    At Cie, Justin serves as the head of product strategy and advises on innovation, technology, and app development. Justin is also the founder of Nativo, an advertising technology company that powers the brand content programs of more than 500 top brand advertisers and media companies such as Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, and Time Inc.

    As COO at Cie, Alvin Fong brings exceptional leadership in strategic partnerships, cross-channel audience development, and monetization and optimization.

    Alvin’s expertise in enhancing organizational, operational, and financial efficiency has steered exponential growth and scale across several digital companies. This includes increasing StyleHaul’s video views to more than 500 million per month, as well as launching and nurturing Internet Brands’ Auto Enthusiast Division into a Top 10 comScore ranking and executing 44 acquisitions for the company.

    Trent Johnson has significant venture creation and management consulting experience in Strategy, Operations and Technology spanning his 25-year career across the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Trent has focused on transactions which create value for both early to mid-stage, and enterprise companies; and what lessons they may learn from each other.

    Jim Davis’ expansive knowledge in innovation, brand marketing, advising early-stage and mid-market companies, business development and exit optimization has driven unparalleled revenue and business growth for brands.

    At Cie, Davis accelerates new businesses opportunities and provides strategic marketing and operational guidance to portfolio companies. Over his 25-year career, Davis has launched five of eBay’s largest businesses, led Pepsi’s expansion into new beverage options that accelerated the company’s growth, and founded successful startups, sold to AOL, Hearst and AT&T.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Glen Kim has extensive M&A experience having worked on 100+ acquisitions including being a core deal team member on a $1.1B acquisition by private equity firm KKR. He has helped companies grow 500%+ by overseeing financial diligence and operational integration of over $400M in acquisitions of digital media and marketing companies in the Automotive, Education, Legal and Healthcare industries.

    Former Wall Street Executive and Private Equity investor, J. Douglas Holladay brings experience from Goldman Sachs, Department of State, Park Avenue Equity Partners, Elgin Capital Partners, leadership across multiple philanthropic organizations and is the Professor at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.

    As Executive in Residence at Cie, Doug will be a strategic partner for accelerating start up growth across fintech, govtech, and other sectors while contributing to Cie’s vision of contributing to a more hopeful future and bringing positive change across diverse industries.

    Brad Martin has led a prolific career driving growth and strategy across various industries. At Cie, Martin lends his expertise in enhancing Cie’s unique value proposition in competitive, emerging markets through his understanding of business challenges and strategies.

    Martin is Chairman of Chesapeake Energy, Chairman of RBM Ventures, and Retired Chairman and CEO of Saks Inc., where in his 20-year tenure the company grew to a Fortune 500 enterprise and its stock value increased more than 12-fold. He also serves on the Board of Directors of FedEx Corporation, First Horizon National Corporation, and Pilot/Flying J.
